Ozgur Bilgic, DVM, FAVD, DABVP (Canine & Feline Practice)
Dr. Bilgic was born in Balikesir, Türkiye. He graduated with honors, ranking third in his class, from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Uludag University in Bursa, Türkiye, in 1998. Following graduation, he served for two years as a research assistant and staff veterinarian in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of Uludag University.
In 2000, Dr. Bilgic moved to the United States to participate in a research program at Michigan State University. He subsequently enrolled in the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) program, earning his certification in 2003. He obtained his Texas veterinary license in April 2004.
Dr. Bilgic has a strong professional focus on veterinary dentistry and oral surgery. Since 2006, he has pursued advanced training and developed extensive clinical experience in canineand feline dentistry and oral surgery. He became a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry in 2011 and has been board-certified in Canine & Feline Practice by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners since 2013.
Fatma Bilgic, DVM, PhD
Dr. Fatma Bilgic is a dedicated veterinary professional with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a PhD in Medical Parasitology. She graduated as the Valedictorian of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Afyon Kocatepe University in 2011 and continued her academic journey by enrolling in a PhD program in Türkiye. She spent eight years working as a researcher at Ege University, School of Medicine and later as a researcher and lecturer at Izmir Katip Celebi University, School of Medicine.
After a life-changing decision, in 2021, she moved to the United States. She is currently pursuing her veterinary licensure in Texas and working alongside her husband and mentor, Dr. Ozgur Bilgic, within their mobile veterinary dentistry and oral surgery practice.
